SoloDesk vs. Infinity

With SoloDesk — CHF 0. Not a trial, not 14 days. The full working tool. Process up to 10 documents a month, run your full double-entry bookkeeping, send QR-Bill invoices and quotes, issue credit notes, send 3-level payment reminders, track VAT on the dashboard, and manage everything from your phone. When you need more, you upgrade to Mid or Full. When you don't, you come back to Free.

With Infinity — you get 14 days. Two weeks to scan receipts, connect your bank, send a few invoices, and decide. On day 15, it's CHF 29 per month. If you don't pay, the access stops.

With SoloDesk — send an invoice, and the rest is handled. If payment is late, a friendly reminder goes out. If still unpaid, a firmer second notice. Then a final pre-Betreibung letter. Three levels, one click, in four languages. Need to cancel or correct an invoice? Issue a credit note — VAT reverses, receivable drops, books stay clean.

With Infinity — after you send the invoice, the rest is manual. If a client is late, you open the tool, find the invoice, write a reminder email, send it yourself. Infinity's own FAQ confirms:

With SoloDesk — open the dashboard. Your VAT balance is there, updated with every transaction. The effective method works on all tiers, including Free. All three rates, all your entries, nothing to compute by hand.

With Infinity — the Start plan only offers flat-rate VAT. If you're on the effective method, you pay CHF 45 a month for Infinity Pro. And even then, VAT lives inside the accounting module — not on the home dashboard.

With SoloDesk — open the app on your phone. iOS or Android, in German, French, Italian or English. Tap scan, shoot the receipt, confirm, done.

With Infinity — the app is available if you own a recent iPhone and read German. Their own wording, from their published pages:

• "The Infinity app is currently available for iOS. An Android version is planned."
